Key Features

Green Garnet Sand also called" Omphacite" or "Jade Sand". it is a cheap abrasive material which also mined from almandite and andradite mineral deposits in China. In its natural state, garnet is a semi-precious stone. Once extracted, it is washed, processed and screened to the necessary grade for use as an abrasive.

Single chip. Complete crystal shape, often with a rare collection granular and column column. Dark green, green, blue, green, sometimes even in gray. Stripe is colorless or virescent. Vitreous burnish. 

Mainly from eclogite, in blue stone schist.Chemical composition: green pyroxene are thoroughly pyroxene - jadeitic jade among series is pyroxene, a variant. Contain 5-9 Al2O3 and small amounts of Na2O, some Fe2O3.
